hmm.. so what have I been up to these days that I barely have time to update this blog of mine?? haha.. basically i am taking my driving lesson.. will be taking the basic theory test coming next month. I should be getting the 10 years series for driving test soon, can you believe it, there is a 10 years series for this.. weird..

what else am I busy with.. Meridian Alumni band.. anyway there is a concert coming up this coming May. The alumni will be playing two songs, Princess Mononoke and Noah's Ark. Two very lovely songs. I am quite happy to be back in Meridian again cause it reminds me of the days back in Meridian. I am missing the whole school experience. too bad I will only get to experience it in 2008

By the way, I am very pleased to announce that I have received letters from NUS and SMU granting me admission into the university, doing bachelor in Business administration. I am so delighted to have received the letter. I will have to make my decision which university I am deciding on by 5 Jun. I am currently at a loss which school to choose and also regreting my failure to sign up for NTU business course. But anyway I am seeking advice from everyone regarding which university I should be going. All advice welcome!! pls give me some guidance...

A few more weeks from now and I am going to graduate from band trainee wing. I am gonna miss having a trainee room to ourselves. And the individual practice we have. Come to think about it, trainee wing was a really awesome experience.. I doubt I will ever get that in the main band. I am not sure which parade bands I will end up but I hope I can get into band A. sounds like band A is more fun. Anyway in a few weeks time, the theory, aural, practical and footdrill assessments are falling into place and I have no idea how I will fare in them. Just hope that I can do well in most of them. Anyway I am still so excited by the thought of going to Brunei for display band performance later this year. My first time going Brunei and first time doing display. Haha even though the seniors say Brunei is boring with nothing to shop or have fun. But I guess I might have fun admiring the oil fields, gold doorknobs and water taps. Wishful thinking on my part.

Anyway this week is a long holiday because of labour day. And it so happened that I fell sick on thurs so I got mc on fri. so It is technically a 4 day off for me. I am glad I get to rest enough over this holiday. Alright I've gotta go rest.. nitez..

it has been one month since i lasted updated this blog.. I'm very sorry for the delay.. just that I don't really have the time and energy to blog about anything. Life after BMT has been amazing before there is a two week block leave which I entirely spent playing and having fun. Then 20 Mar came and my posting results were out, and guess what I got into SAF band. I cannot feel happier than this result because I get to book out everyday and see my family and friends and sleep at home. So I guess that is good.

Band so far has been quite manageable since we are under traininee wing. I guess the tough trainings will come the minute we join the main bands. what do we do in band? theory, aural lessons, footdrill, individual practice, combine band. quite draggy but time passes fast at least. basically I will definitely be in the parade bands, either band A or B. definitely central band is out of question because it is hogged on by regulars who are like there forever. Sian. Outdoor and marching pieces everyday. what to do. I also just got news that I am one of the lucky six chosen for Brunei trip in july. We're playing for some King's birthday. Heard that training will be quite tough. Once again. sian.

Hmm, back to more recent things.. I just came back from my grandpa's funeral. today is the procession and cremation. Very very sad. especially watching my aunties and cousins cry. the whole atmosphere was hard to bear. My grandpa was very very close to all of us when he was alive. He was a very independent man and very caring and kind so it hurts to know that he is no longer with us. We will always remember and miss him. Farewell grandpa...
