nothing to blog about. I'm stress. I'm dying. I'm studying. I'm.. mugging.. mugging.. mugging. Study rocks. I've been so busy studying I can't even be bothered what's happening around me. Guess I can only study if I am left alone.. Prelims on the way. So is A Levels. So is NS. So is the world of adulthood. Sigh. The sudden acceleration of my life frightens me but I can't slow it down. It is beyond my means. So just go with the flow.. and hopefully it is good up ahead.

let me see.. when was the last time I updated this blog.. 6 Aug.. wow. seems like yesterday. and what is the date today, 16 Aug'2005. I must really say time flies. like nobody's business. To quote something from the school's favourite HOD, who also received some teachers award on national day, Ms Wong, "Time waits for no men, and also no women". Interesting uh. I still have tonnes of inspiring quotes from her.

So far, everyday in school passes like a routine. nothing new, nothing out-of-the-blue. just plain studying, revising, consultation. Well, this is the life of a junior college student for your info. I just read Joel's blog which quoted from Eugene's blog regarding the parent who complained about the long hours and stressful cirriculum of the Junior College education. I think it is pretty true that JC education force its students to work to their limit, staying in school from 7am to 7pm and sleepnig at 12midnight and beyond.

For me, I cannot bring myself to do that. First, I find it very hard to concentrate in school and I am more productive at home. Secondly, I need my sleep otherwise the next day will be disastrous when I get realy distracted. As far as I can, I try to stretch myself to the limit and stay up as late as possible but I think the maximum I can go is 1am perhaps. Anything more than that.. I don't even want to think about it. What about staying through the night to study? definitely a no no for me. I have contemplated the thought but I realise that it is not feasible if you waste the next day sleeping and end up messing you biological clock.

alright shan't waste anymore time. have to get back to my work..

Saturday, August 6

Yay, finally the 5 day holiday that I have been looking forward to is here. this is a good time for me to regenerate myself for what is to come. although studying is inevitable this week but there must still be time for other things like, have fun. I guess my revision is doing well, so far so good.

Prelims in in another 30 something days time, A levels will soon follow after that, less than 40 days i think. so effective, there is only 2 months for me to get smart and go in and withstand the entire week of exams pounding and stressing. it is going to be tiring and mind-draining but just have to live with it.

havent had the time to blog these days. tutorials after tutorials. lecture essays after lecture essays. everything seems to be piling up. once again, too many things to do, too little time to complete. And it doesn't help that my body is feeling very weak and feeble these days. Hopefully this holiday can put me back into tip-top condition so i can keep the momentum towards A level.
