well, first day of school and guess what we faced the aftermath of our block test. the results. Although we have not got back all our results, some of the marks are still tentative and require further examination, you can roughly tell your grades by guessing. Well, Literature would probably be shit marks because i wrote shit, and Mr Wee, Ms Kalidas, Ms Rehana blew their top today over the results. I have never seen them that angry over the grades. Guess it was really badly done. Well, I doubt I can score anything decent anyway.

When I entered the lecture, I was told by Mr Pang that my script would be send for moderation and it gave me a shock at that moment. Khairah then told me that I probably did very well and the marks will be lowered to make it fairer. It felt a little comforting to hear that and I could almost see myself doing well for history, for what seems like the first time. even my answer seem to match what the answer scheme required.

At tutorial, Mr Pang gave out the papers except mine and Sarah Ong's. However he asked us whether we wanted to look at the raw score first. So I walked out and peeped into the score book and guess what? 10 +10, 20 freaking marks upon 50. What kind of shit is this? moderation? are they kidding me with this kind of marks? or they intended to fail me all along and are trying to make my marks lower with moderation? I have no idea.

I went into a daze for the rest of the day. I kept wondering what could have gone wrong but nothing came to my mind. I just went to the library during lunch, for what, to study. what kind of freak am I? What's the point of studying so hard and to end up with trash results. I was told that I had interpreted the question prefectly correct, and the introduction was beautifully written, nothing I have written before in my entire JC history experience. So what went wrong? wrong examples used. bad organisation. irrelevant points. cool isn't it?? It is always amazing how the higher your expectations are, the harder you will fall.

During economics tutorial, guess what Ms Quek said. no one passed the test. We weren't sure she was refering to the MCQ segment or the entire test. but still, it doesn't sound good to someone who sucks in economics.

Guess I am just going to fail everything this time. Talk about being advanced and this is the kind of result I am getting. Did I not put in enough effort? Did I not study enough? All the preparation over the week just went down the drain like that? What's the point of studying and typing out essays after essays and looking through them over and over again if this is the result I am going to get. Did I not work hard enough as others have? What is the fucking problem man? I guess I am just dumb and that is the sad reality. Should I still stay on and waste my time. People say they can never bring themselves to be so hardworking as I am. Do they really think so? How do they know I study? How do they know I am hardworking? Perhaps it is just a hoax because the biggest lazy bum is me that is why the shitty results that I get. Even people who studied last minute can afford a decent pass. Isn't it so funny and ironic that the one who started doing essays after essays before the test fail the test? gosh, I can fall off my chair just laughing because I am such an asshole.

Now I am just some loser who can't even organise my words properly, just rattle nonsense off any part of my brain, a total idiot man. Hey, look, even your triumph card is opened. and what did you get, B3? you have lost your ability. your strength. what more can you offer?? you think you can continue the battle with the rest of your lousy suites? Never. forget it loser. what more compete with others who are 5million times stronger than you?? HA.Ha.Ha.

Even what I am speaking now is nonsense. It has polluted the blog, left a stain and scar that can never be removed. Sigh. Totally dejected. I should pack up and return to year 1 or something. Its sad but its true. A Level is still too much for me to take? How about that?

Sunday, March 27

Finally.. My computer is fixed and the block tests are over.. Thank god for this short break that I am having.. It is the fourth day after I finished my block tests and I have not touched anything related to school since then. Just partying, have fun, hanging out everywhere and finding people whom I have not seen for a long time to catch up on things.

The block tests was pretty alright for me. especially economics and history, both of which I had prepared over the one week holiday. But literature was the one which suffered. And I dare say I have never written 3 hours of crap in my life. But still anyhow, Lit is something that is very hard to fail. just that the score will suck. Anyway I'm just comforted that my economics and history will at least pass the fail and border line grades. Hopefully. Keep my fingers cross. In JC, I learnt that there is nothing one can be sure about, especially when it comes to studies. But when you have studied for it, I guess it wil more or less pay off. The amount of effort you put in equates the amount of return that you will get.

enough about studies. Today was kinda crazy. I woke up late and prepared to go for band. As usual, I was late. nothing new, surprising. Blah Blah, after that Dawn, Siok Wei and Justin had intended to come over to my house to watch VCDs. By the way we called Eugene along, the more the merrier. So after band we were deciding where to eat before watching the videos and finally I suggested that they come over my house and cook or something. And so we headed for Cold Storage at Kovan and bought all the materials we needed. Spagetti, Cocktails, Ice Cream, Root Beer, Black Pepper Chicken and so on. Then we headed for the VCD shop to buy anything that we can watch. After hesitating for a long time, we finally settled with My Sassy Girl.

The minute we settled down at my house, they started cooking the stuff as we were getting really hungry. At first it looked like a mess, and everything was flying and spilling over the place, but soon we got the hang of it and managed to whip up some decent dinner. Although some dishes tasted weird and cold, and all sorts of taste but we managed to fill our stomach. Dessert has gotta be the best and normal I guess. Even the root beer and ice cream tasted like yucks. Nvm.

After watching My Sassy Girl, I realise why people especially girls are attracted to these kinda shows. Because they feature fairy tale endings and love stories that everyone loves to see no matter how cliche they may be. Anyway the show was pretty comical and interesting. A little absurd but quite unlike the conventional love, romantic show that you will find.

I must thank them and especially Eugene for helping me clean up the mess and washing the dishes. As usual, Eugene is the one who will always be there to clear up the mess, man, I am so fortunately to have such a friend. Appreciate him. He is just this really kind and responsible person, unlike me, although both of us are only child in the family. Well, you have variety of people in this world, that is what makes it interesting. Yeah.

I am just lazing around now, listening to slow music and thinking about things. No one at home to disturb, I wonder what time my parents will be back from their one day cruise. My mum is very keen and will find out that I meddled with her kitchen. Haha, then I will have to explain it to her.

Anyway I will just explain the giss of it otherwise she will keep asking and the questions will just keep coming in.

recently, I just met up with Si Jun, Wei Lung, Xiang You and Wilson. We all gathered in the night and cycled to Bishan. Just to go to 7-eleven to buy drinks and mash potatoes. But still, I never realise it was so fast to get to Bishan from Hougang. It is like ony 15 mins ride, definitely faster than train, bus or even taxi. Guess it was just over the hill, upslope and downslope, quiet and less people at night, that is why we reached there within such short span of time. After that, we had to send Wilson home as he has curfew and had to report home before his mum starts calling. So we sent him home, and Wei Lung and I went home to take our wallets each before meeting Xiang You to eat supper at Punggol. Then we sat there for a few hours just chatting and catching up on lateste things. We left the place at only 3.30am, by then I was so tired I slept after I reached home.

Lately, I've been so caught up with The Sims 2. I think it is such a cool and awesome game because you get to control peoples' lives and manipulate them around. But think about it, it gets kinda scary to think that someone out there might be manipulating the way we live. oh well, ignorance is bliss. Besides playing games and surfing blogs and stuff, listening to musics, I can't seem to find anything constructive to do with my computer. I am too lazy to do my work.

It gets boring because for a media/music guy like me not being able to download musics and videos thanks to the dumb pirarcy law and rumours going around that, "oh my friends' friends received a $500,000 fine". Sigh, I mean it it not like I don't support original stuff. Plus those people make like millions out of inoocent consumers like us and they dare to complain about our downloading activities. True, there are people out there who just leech off original stuff and never support the original stuff. But I think it is unfair to just ban everyone from something as private as downloading things. I mean some people buy computers to listen to musics and do work. What is a computer to them if there is no songs to listen to. Weird. I mean what gives the government the right to intrude into our account and find out what we have downloaded. Well, they are the authority and they have final control. So minor characters like us just abide by it or pay for our follies.

Eew. I stink, I shall go and bath. Will try to update regularly and it is time I ought to change the skin. -winks.

Friday, March 11

Sorry that I haven't been updating my blog for such a long long time. It is because my computer has been down since I don't know when.. still is though. Anyway it is a blessing in disguise perhaps as the block test is coming soon and I can concentrate on my study rather than wasting those precious time online. Thankfully, Yong Liang lent me his labtop and I can still do my work. Hope he repairs is real soon and I can listen to my songs again.

Shan't talk much as there is little privacy in the school library as everyone can see what you're typing. -smile-
