Christmas Eve
I spent the entire christmas eve at pasir ris downtown east with my cousins. I felt so young with them.. We went to Wild Wild Wet and got ourselves soaking wet, I have not swam like this for a pretty long time. We spent the entire morning and afternoon there and all of us ended up tanned. And now I am suffering from sunburn and my skin is drying up.. sooner or later it will start peeling. Eew. And my nose and forehead hurts too. But anyway it was fun. After which we went to Escape Theme Park. The rides were pretty stale and after a while it gets boring. But there were some new rides that were pretty interesting. The first one we went on was this ride call rainbow. It was this spinning thing that went freefall after reaching a height of nine storey. Gosh. My stomach felt quesy after i took the ride as I have not had breakfast nor lunch before going wild with those kids.
Christmas Countdown
And so after a day of absolutely madness with the kids, I had to rush to Joel's house in time for the countdown. As usual, it was the time of the year that I will look forward to. I was honoured that some of his family relatives actually know me. HAha.. cool even I don't know them. The food, which is the best part of the whole event was as usual, superb. You must give it to his family when it comes to cooking. They can make fabulous food. Haha.. And we exhcanged presents as well, amongst the Joel's and Jonathan's friends. It was just fun to be there. And the singing and stuff. I must apologise to Eugene for not getting anything during the party. I totally forgot about it. We were busy discussing about Joel and everyone else's present and I forgot his. Gosh, what kind of friend am I?? Sigh
Christmas Party
After catching some nap and recovering from the chalet madness, I had to meet up with the guys and go for a christmas party at Wei Lung's house. And again, I didn't get him anything, along with the rest of the guys as well, I think only one person got him something. Shame on us man.. Only know how to eat.. Anyway there was lots of jamming, crap talk, sex talk(with Aloysius around), and eating and gaming.. blah.. It was fun nonetheless. His family were pretty friendly and asked us to make ourselves at home. One thing Ashley and I discovered is that all his family members, especially the guys looks very fit and can easily kill you with a blow. And they all have curly hair. haha Interesting.. Even the grandpa looks strong man.. Ha.. pretty scary. I think they go for mass exercise or something. Anyway thanks for that meal Wei Lung.. Merry Christmas..
Today
I spent the whole day with Andy walking aimlessly around orchard.. Apparently he wanted to get a bag and I had to get the ties for the section for the concert. I felt pretty bad as I failed to accomplish my mission as by the time I got to the shop, it was closed. Stupid John Little, I have never seen a shopping centre or departmental store close that early before.. Anyway they will be getting the ties after band tomorrow. Sorry.. heehe... And I've gotten my Ayumi CD.. so happy..
Before I forget.. thanks to those who got me presents during Christmas - Ching Si, Jeremy, Joel, Eugene.. sorry that my birthday is around the corner again.. make you spend.. but don't worry i return birthday presents during your birthdays.. if I remember.. haha.. MErry Christmas and Happy New Year..

Monday, December 20
Two more weeks left before school reopens.. hmm.. absolutely bored.. I have been waking up really late these days.. guess it time I should start waking up early and do some work instead of lazing on my bed.
Recently celebrated my Mum's birthday, over at some chinese restaurant, invited Ching Si and Si Jun along as I was going to meet them at Dhoby Ghaut. The food was not so good as it was all spicy and weird, all the veggies stuff..
I have no idea what else to say.. Oh I met up with the pre u sem group 17 people. Most of them came and we just kinda hang out and catch up on things. The guys were super lame alright, and the girls were just amused at the way the guys behave. I was a little shocked and umcomfortable at first. As I didn't know where to fit myself in but as it went along, I manage to become as witty as them. Hee. We watched the christmas procession along the roads of orchard road. The performances were awesome and the lights were simply dazzling. And the group ended the outing with some mass photo taking session. we were in the middle of the walk lane taking pictures of us crowding around the camera oon the floor. It attracted a lot of attention but we just kept taking and taking.
Anyway today I managed to study a little.. and played badminton. I think there is seriously something wrong with my ankle. I ought to let it recover before I engage in any sports I guess. I almost sprained it again. Thank god I didn't. Sigh, my poor ankle..

Migrain attack - On the first day upon arrival at Genting, I slept for about 3 hours before proceeding on to do anything else.. And I woke up with this atrocious headache which i believe it is migrain as I never had any in my life, not that I remember. It almost cracked my brain as I was screaming in pain. And so my Mum gave me 2 panadols and I popped them and the pain was relieved 15 mins later, look what extra strong panadol can do. miracles.
Genting - Throughout the 3 or should I say 2 days there, I did nothing but shop and shop.. I feel like some big spender. I couldn't help it, my parents were engrossed in the casino as if they had some charm casted upon them. And I was just plain bored as I was the only kid who came with the adults. I wanted to visit the themepark but what joy do you get out of playing alone. So I convinced my parents to allow me to wonder around. Yay, which was my motive so I can spend all my money.. I had to buy a new set of clothes because I manage to screw up the trip within the first 1 hour, I spilled the Milo on the table and it got onto me. Damn. (part of an excuse to shop) I bought a cap, some presents for my friends, wristband, socks, pants and clothes. They weren't really cheap as people say Malaysian goods are, I guess it is probably setting their prices based on the fact that majority of the visitors here are tourists. Anyway I bought enough to make me happy.
Besides those never-ending shopping trips that drains your brain cells away, I went to watched two musicals. It costed about $30 each Sing dollar but nonetheless my parents allowed as they didn't want me to complain about their endless hours in the casino. One musical being Peter Pan and the other was a water, dance and music performance. Peter Pan was not childish at all, in fact it was very romantic and beautiful. The whole cast enchanted the audience with their mesmerising voice, exquisite costumes and stunning choreography. I was blown away by the musical. Somehow there were parts of the show which I never knew happened in other renditions of Peter Pan, but the overall plot was fabulous.
The H2O performance as it was called, made use of dazzling customes which almost seemed like those striptease show initially. But the brilliant combination of lights and water plus the glamorous movements of the dancers costumes, it enhances the visual effects. There was a circus performance halfway through the show and it just took the audience's breath away. The kind of technical stunts that they are required to performance is awe-insipiring. But a pity the entire performance was barely 45 mins long.
Dinner - My parents won some money from the casino and decided to eat something good, as usual. We went to the Chinese restaurant which serves abalone and shark fin. Not sure what its English name is called. But anyway the food was heavenly man, I have never seen abalone that big before. Neither have I eaten abalone at such expense in my life. Of course the price was like $250 Sing dollar for 4 person. Quite worth it actually.
Feeling sick again - We had to take this bus with massage chair and mini LCD screens on it. The comfort costs $15 per person more than normal bus. We just had lunch and had to rush to the bus to catch an earlier bus home. I was feeling giddy when i board the bus and it did not make it any better that the bus was travelling on GEnting road. The turns and jerks made me puked and it stinked up the area where I sat. But the smeel went off a while later. I felt better after vomitting and soon I was bouncing up and down the bus and watching TV. It was showing Hilary Duff, Justin TImberlake (which I manage to catch the last part.. damn damn damn..), Mariah Carey, Stef Sun and Shrek. This was enough to last me the 7 hour bus journey. Freaking hell, my bladder almost bursted on the bus. And we had to queue up as if we were buying Hello Kitties at the custom. Well, eventually we reached home at 9.30pm. I screamed as I was unable to catch Star's Award. Only manage to know who the top 10 female actress were. Nvm, shan't miss the repeat telecast.
I feel so flattered that Joel actually in part of his blog about my dying passion for band. Haha, thanks pal, even though you couldn't stand up for me in front of Ms Sia, which I understand, given your position as president, it is not right for you to do so. Anyway I feel console that you actually do know about this. Thanks again.
alright, fingers are tired and my nephews are here to irritate me..

Friday, December 10
Yay, today I will be going to Genting.. Hopefully it will be fun. These weeks of struggle to keep up with my study schedule and now I will again fail to observe the timetable. Sigh, looks like I have lots of catching up to do..
New Hair.. I went to check out the saloon just nearby my house yesterday and got a punk hairstyle back.. heehee. It looks pretty alright. And for once Ching Si changed his hairstyle, cool, he had a very nice cut for his back but the front looks weird, a bit too round I felt..
Dance session.. Dance practice was fun as this time there were more guys (not like the previous time, I was the only one and it felt so weird). Some of the guys can dance pretty well, but overall everyone did well, at least we could keep up with the music. The choreographer intended a Taekando dance to merge with modern dance which I felt was very creative.. Gosh, everyone should see it, maybe I will tape it down..
Band Practice.. It was fun playing Pirates of the Carribean, and I so wanna watch the movie which was out like donkey years ago. Anyway, I am officially banned from the first trumpet part as instructed by the almighty Triple S. She announced it in front of a big group of people of the band, almost enough to let the whole band know, that I am lousy and shall therefore be banished to the lower regions. Well, need I say more, you be the judge.. I have learnt not to take such petty things to heart, cause it doesn't help at all so why bother to talk about it even..
Tribute to Mr Tay.. news has it that my beloved trumpet teacher is out of job.. First he was sacked from Montfort, then Nanyang JC, following newtown and northland.. I don't even know whether he has found any new bands or even switch occupation. Hmm, I don't see why so many people hate him.. I respect some people's opinion but I can;t stand the fact that some other people are allowing their mutual feelings be swayed by group decisions. So much complaining that he neglects whoever and whoever, so much about his conducting methods suck, then tell me what is best? Do you expect conductor to be like the famous ones who are good?? What defines good then, a good band?? well, there are so many good conductors with lousy bands on their hands and lousy conductors who are lucky to have good bands under them. So what is the trend now for a good conductor?? Maybe I am taking a very biased stand as Mr Tay the one who thought me for my trumpet grades. Now that I have evolved to such pathetic state, I feel shameful to face him. But one thing I believe in is that, given more time, Mr Tay will definitely produce results.. perhaps people are obssessed with results that they cannot afford any delays.. Sad.. adults are stubborn people, freaking stubborn.. I think I am a stubborn person as well, ah, just too bad..
next to all my male friends who are soon to be enlisted or already enlisted as national slave.. good luck.. don't miss us.. must take care inside alright.. And Sharif, poor thing, heard you are already in.. Joel and I can feel your pain, according to Joel, fat people have telepathy and stuff.. ok we get it.. take care alright..
Yay, Genting.. here I come..

Sunday, December 5
I just came back from a pretty good concert.. it is the joint effort between WASBE and a few of the local junior college bands.. However the venue was all the way at Boon Lay!!.. NTU auditorium... And I just got back home.. I feel so tired even though I didn't do much today at all.. I wonder??
There were quite a few people whom I knew from today's concert.. The entire montfort gang went out to concert. After arriving at the station, I went to meet Wen Qi and her friend. And I got to know some people from Nanyang.. quite funny people anyway..
Sigh, I am so tired I have nothing to write anymore.. no strength perhaps..
I am feeling so bored, there is no one at home and I have nothing to do.. sigh, can't get to sleep either.. well, guess I wil eventually..

Friday, December 3
Here's the entry for today. It goes.. I failed to follow the study schedule (again!!).. because of the SAJC tune in session. I thought it would be fun to expose myself to another JC's band practice. In fact it is just another excuse for me to slack off. Nevertheless I felt that I have learnt quite a bit from this tune in session. Haha, had a recollection of how orientation was like.. hmm.. There was one thing which i felt that SAJC had and it is similar to that of Meridian. That is nice people who are really fun-loving.. Not too overly competitive in terms of academic results.. Well, this may sound bias but just let me keep this nice memory I have of SAJC. All in all, two words, SAJC rocks..
I wished I could have registered for that JC but due to distance problem it makes it very difficult for me to get to the school, what more on time.. Nonetheless I still love meridian, I think it is time I should start to tolerate the band and realise that I will have to work my way round people who are not in favour of my existence.. After this tune in to SAJC, I fell that it is definitely important to like what you are doing and try to get-to-know and explore the thing that you're in for.. In fact after this trip, I got to know the president which so happened to be from the cornet section. I was shocked and embarrassed to hear that he was the president as I was rambling on and on about the band and stuff and even asked who the president is.. haha, his name is Sala (probably wrong spelling but it stands for wrong in Malay, he is not Malay by the way, I think).. He is a nice person, reminds me of Calmilus, same personality and height too, perhaps one fair skin and the other tanned.
There was another thing interesting about SAJC too, those myths about the people there being yandaos and chiobus, it is pretty true to quite a large extent.. You can't really pick fault with their looks and none of them is actually UGLY.. haha, i always thought it was nonsense but it seems like the myth was based on evidence. Well, maybe I have not seen the rest of the cohort..
I am probably going to be unable to follow my study schedule again tomorrow. BAnd and WASBE concert, why must things always crop up the last minute.. Sigh..
I have this feeling that I am offending everyone else around me.. just an intuition. It seems like everyone is giving me the look and attitude, like "orh jun yang, whatever lor".. argh, nvm.. was never good at descriptive language.. Perhaps it is because of the songs I listen and night.. sad and lonely.. Sigh..
Anyway at least I bought and did things which made me happy.. it was all done on impulse but who cares. I had two tattoos sprayed on me.. haha.. fake ones la.. But definitely looks real. One was on my arm and the other free one on my leg.. Hehe, then I went to Carefour to buy Twister, fake version, called Don't fall down, lame shit.. Haha, have been wanting to buy that game for so long.. haha, a christmas present for myself maybe.. next I am getting a deck of UNO cards. Maybe someone can buy it for me as christmas present (hehe,a bit too open liao, nah just joking..)And by the way did I say that I dyed my hair.. a little brown but not too obvious.. I wanted to make it discreet and didn't want to get scolded so I was pretty lenient with the colour and time I had the liquid on my hair.. looks kinds good too.. might post a picture next time heehe..
yawn.. sleepy le.. need to wake up early tomorrow for band. Think I will appear crazy to my section mates tomorrow because that is what happens everytime I try to act enthusiatic about band.. oh man I love band, don't you.. nitez diary and everyone.. muacks..

Ouch.. I sprained my ankle.. again.. boohoo.. Badminton again. This time it was not as if I was jumping up and down which caused the sprain. I merely stood there and guess what, 'crack'.. and my ankle is back to the state a month before..
I went to the Polyclinic yesterday and it was my first time in a polyclinic. My Parents wanted me to get my leg X-rayed to see what caused my ankle to be easily broken. Anyway I queued but for 2 freaking hours just to see the doctor. Luckily Ching Si was there with me so we walked around and went for lunch. I had to wait after I came back from lunch. Well, the price to pay for cheap medical consultation. Anyway the doctor said I didn't need any X-ray because it was not serious. He gave me some painkillers and oilment and told me to rest so I can let the ankle recover by itself.
The nurse then gave me a bandage to relief any further trauma to the ankle. She was so funny. She thought I was looking at some pretty girl resulting in the sprain. Before I could say anything, she was going 'ouch ouch', and said it must hurt a lot right? So I said that it was still bearable.
Yeah, and I got an MC for my absent from band..
Sob, there is dance practice and I can't go.. gotta catch up with the steps with Wen Qi sometime..
